CURRICULUM

We firmly believe in educating the “whole child” – in other words, our preschool seeks to challenge children to grow cognitively, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Daily lesson plans include a balance of structured and creative activities, group times and free play as well as indoor and outdoor experiences.

The school year is organized into weekly units of study. Fun, engaging themes make learning exciting for the children.

We base our lesson plans on the Wee Learn curriculum, supplemented with our character education program, kindergarten readiness skills and engaging enrichment time. Ages two and up attend a bi-monthly chapel service led by the ministerial staff of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Children in all classes help to start and tend a garden on our playground each spring as part of our Science and Nature curriculum.
